DJI has announced their Christmas deals on drones this week and they involve either protecting your brand-new drone or extending the flying time by offering you a free battery in the bundle.
DJI Phantom 3 – Free hard shell case with every new DJI Phantom 3 purchase.
DJI offer a new case (see below) with every new purchase of:
- DJI Phantom 3 Professional ($1,259)
- DJI Phantom 3 Advanced ($999)
- DJI Phantom 3 Standard ($699 – probably the best value with the free backpack out of the three because it is also the cheapest)
A case for your drone is essential if you plan to take your drone anywhere beyond your backyard. After all, it is a fragile product and you don’t want the propellers to bend or become decalibrated by stuffing it into just any normal rucksack. You can also carry a lens cleaner and clothes with you because you don’t want a smudge to ruin your beautiful sunset photos.
DJI Inspire 1 v2.0 and DJI Inspire 1 Pro
The more professional of you may be interested in DJI’s top-of-the-range series – the DJI Inspire 1.
The recently released version 2.0 includes better-calibrated propellers and enhanced stability. For their Christmas deals, you get a free DJI Inspire 1 battery with every drone purchase of a DJI Inspire 1 or DJI Inspire 1 Pro.
If you are into the filmmaking, the same goes for the Ronin products – you’ll get a free spare battery worth $99 with every purchase.
So there you have it; these are the main deals on drones from DJI this Christmas. Not the best we have seen, but it is still better to get an added free product bundle for the same price than to have nothing extra.
