The DJI Mavic Pro, released earlier this year came with a unique selling point which trumped all the other drones released so far. What was that unique selling point? Its silent mode of operation!
Although drones have become more and more popular in recent years, even the super expensive ones such as the DJI Inspire Pro and DJI Phantom 4 (which was top of the consumer range prior to the release of the Mavic) made the sort of noise that would attract often unwanted attention.
Longer flying time and noise reduction
Building up on the powerful features found on the original DJI Mavic, the Pro version also comes with a longer flying time (up to 30 mins) and noise reduction of more than 4 dB.
The 30 mins of operation also come with an extended wireless range of 7km (4.3 miles).
To top that up, the drone can fly at speeds up to 40 mph (65kph) in the brand new sport mode for a total of 27 mins!
Compact
The foldable arms make this top of the range drone extremely compact and sturdy. Compared to the Phantom 4, it is only 1/6th of its size! You can quickly pack it in your backpack without needing a special case. You can also take it onboard your carry on luggage, thus not risking it getting damaged if you were to check it in.
DJI Goggles
The latest super cool features is that you can now buy and use the new DJI Goggles with the DJI Mavic Pro featuring two 1920 x 1080 screens straight to these “VR” Goggles.
