Yuneec Launches $5000 Video Contest For Typhoon H Operators

While I find it strange that Yuneec is choosing to limit submissions from their other sUAS models, any company that’s giving away $5000 for their aerial video contest is worth sharing with you all.

Details below from the Yuneec team:

Perspective is everything. With every Typhoon H flight, a story unfolds from above, illustrating your adventures from dizzying heights with elegance and clarity. We’ve seen you out there flying your Typhoon H’s. We’ve also seen you creating some incredibly advanced aerial films.

Now we’re giving you the opportunity to share your perspective with the world for a chance to win $5,000 worth of Yuneec product!

It’s simple: Enter your most compelling, visually stunning video, captured with a Yuneec Typhoon H or Typhoon H Pro with Intel® RealSense™ Technology, and you could win $5,000 worth of Yuneec product.

Your video must utilize task mode, team mode and/or 360 camera operation in order to win. Enter your video by submitting your YouTube URL, noting in the YouTube video description “This video submitted as part of a contest sponsored by Yuneec International to highlight use of the Typhoon H product.” Videos must be submitted by December 2, 2016. Each video will be reviewed by Yuneec’s team of experts and three winners will be chosen and announced on December 15, 2016. The Grand Prize winner will receive a $5,000 Yuneec gift card, and the first and second runner-ups will each receive a $200 Yuneec gift card.

Here’s how to enter:

  • Shoot your video with a Typhoon H or Typhoon H Pro with Intel® RealSense™ Technology.
  • Upload your video to YouTube, noting in the video description “This video submitted as part of a contest sponsored by Yuneec International to highlight use of the Typhoon H product.”
