The Phantom 4 features superb 4K video with hi-definition live streaming and cutting-edge “sense” obstacle-avoidance and target-tracking technology. Arguably the best aerial photography drone at this price.
The Phantom 4 Advanced is a superb aerial photography platform for both amateurs and professionals alike. Equipped with a 20MP Camera capable of capturing 4K Video at 60 fps utilising a full 1” image sensor for high dynamic range imagery. The Phantom 4 Advanced also has the ability to shoot in RAW format and adjust its aperture on the fly. The result is unparalleled image quality.
Equipped with the FlightAutonomy system made up of 5 vision sensors, dual-band satellite positioning (GPS and GLONASS), ultrasonic rangefinders and redundant sensors, the Phantom 4 Advanced is able to hover precisely in places with GPS and fly complex environments. The dual forward vision sensors can see as far as 30m out front, and enable auto brake, hover or detour in front of obstacles with a 15m range. This alongside the numerous intelligent flight modes (Draw, ActiveTrack, TapFly, Return to Home and Gesture Mode) allow for unsurpassed freedom to focus on the picture and less on the piloting.
Capable of 72kph in Sport Mode the Phantom 4 is switchable between 4 performance modes to suit every purpose including Sports Mode there is Position Mode, Atti Mode and a Tripod Mode that limits the drone to 7kph for precision control when filming indoors or fine framing of a subject. The Phantom 4 Pro also features dual compass modules and dual IMU units keeping flight steady, accurate and reliable.
And by supporting both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequency bands the DJI Lightbridge HD video transmission technology offers reliable control and high quality, low latency image transmission with a range of up to 7km. This and a flight time of 30 minutes means anything between you and the horizon is within your reach.
A 5.5″ 1080p screen is integrated on the Phantom 4 Advanced+ controller and offers 1000 cd/m2 of brightness, more than twice as bright as conventional smart devices. It makes bright, vivid colours easily visible in direct sunlight. As the DJI GO 4 app is built into the screen, a mobile device is not required, simplifying pre-flight preparations.
Integration of an HDMI port, Micro SD card slot, microphone, embedded loudspeaker, and Wi-Fi connection allow images to be edited inside DJI GO 4 to be shared almost instantly. Its five-hour battery life makes the Phantom 4 Advanced+ a complete aerial imaging solution. The integrated upgraded Lightbridge HD video transmission system supports dual frequencies for greater interference resistance and a maximum video transmission range of 7km.
The Phantom 4’s magnesium skeleton reduces weight while keeping stiffness at a maximum to minimise vibration. The new core design lifts the center of gravity closer to the Phantom 4’s heart, improving balance, making it more agile and impressively precise.
Switching flight modes to meet your needs, whether you are looking for simplicity and intelligent navigation, speed or smooth cinematic movements is easy.
Fly for 30 minutes, an increase in effective flight time of 25% from the Phantom 3 Professional. Enjoy 7km of range, with complete control and a live 720p HD view of everything the camera sees.
Equipped with the FlightAutonomy system made up of 5 vision sensors, dual-band satellite positioning (GPS and GLONASS), ultrasonic rangefinders and redundant sensors, Phantom 4 Advanced is able to hover precisely in places with GPS and fly complex environments. The Phantom 4 reacts to your touch. In TapFly Mode, simply tap on the live view on your smart device screen to send it flying in that direction. With Obstacle Sensing Systems you can watch it fly without worry.
Using ActiveTrack, the Phantom 4 will recognise your subject, follow them naturally, and keep them in the frame. No GPS bracelet, tracker or beacon required.
The onboard camera has been redesigned to use a 1-inch 20-megapixel CMOS sensor. A custom engineered lens made up of eight elements is arranged in seven groups, it is the first DJI camera to use a mechanical shutter, eliminating rolling shutter distortion which can occur when taking images of fast moving subjects or when flying at high speed. In effect, it is as powerful as many traditional ground cameras. More powerful video processing supports H.264 4K videos at 60fps or H.265 4K at 30fps, both with a 100Mbps bitrate. Advanced sensors and processors ensure everything is captured with more image detail and the image data needed for advanced post-production.
A range of video colour profiles are available to help you get the look you want easily, from bright vibrant colours to professional flat profiles including D-Log and Cine-D that are ready for video post-production. Photographers can shoot images in 12 megapixel Adobe DNG RAW.
An advanced 3-axis gimbal takes out unwanted vibration and movement in-flight, enabling the camera to capture smooth and fluid footage even during complex maneuvers.
DJI GO is all you need to fly, create, share, and connect. Compatible with the Phantom series, Inspire series, Osmo and more.
Through the DJI SDK, the Phantom 4 is open to software and hardware development.
The Phantom 4 connects to both GPS and GLONASS, allowing it to connect to satellites faster and position itself with extreme accuracy in the air.
The Phantom 4 automatically logs the details of every flight you take so you can check back on previous flights.
Dual compass modules and dual Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) allow the Phantom 4 to constantly check the data it is receiving. This means any incorrect data can be isolated and ignored without ever affecting your flight.
Beginner flyers should build confidence by flying low and close. Beginner Mode prevents new pilots from going beyond their skills. An adjustable maximum height and distance can also be set when flying skills improve.
All the controls on the Phantom 4 can be completely customised to match your flying style, from control stick sensitivity to the functionality of dedicated buttons.
Newly designed prop mounts allow each prop to be securely locked in place with a push and a twist and released just as easily. This locking mechanism allows the propeller to withstand harsh turning forces.
