Lily is a beautiful drone that you simply throw up into the air, and allow it to go. This drone is an attempt to revolutionize camera and real-time action footage.
Unlike other drones that you’ll control by yourself, Lily will follow you, and shoot and capture video and imagery along the way.
If you’re a skier and you want to take footage of your latest trip, simply throw Lily into the air and start skiing as she follows you around.
Lily utilizes a 1080p full HD camera that is able to go to slow-motion mode at 720p. Taking video at 60 frames per second, the camera is exceptional and will capture your most important action shots as they occur.
And Lily offers stabilization to ensure that your pictures are always steady and never blurry.
You’ll also need to tell Lily what to do. If you want Lily to stand on the side of you, you can have her hover on the side of you and take pictures. You can also have her shoot from behind you or in front of you – it’s your choice.
This is the precision control that any drone needs for autonomous video capturing.
Optics specifications are as follows:
If you want to capture every second in slow-motion, switch to the 720p setting, and you’re good to go.
Lily can go up to 50 feet above your head, or as close as 5 feet above your head. The total distance from the user could be set to as far as 100 feet, or as close as 5 feet. With a maximum speed of 25 mph, Lily can capture the action no matter how fast you’re going.
Battery life is rather long at 20 minutes. Charging takes approximately one hour, and you’ll charge through a 10A charger. There is a built-in lithium-ion battery that will hold a charge for a long time.
The Lily drone is a little bit different. What you do is attach the tracking device to your wrist. It looks just like a watch. The case is completely waterproof, so you can go canoeing or river rafting with Lily.
And if Lily happens to fall into the water, don’t worry: she’s waterproof too.
Lily doesn’t just record videos, she’s able to:
And all of the pictures are taken with a 12 MP camera, so they’re crystal-clear.
A 4 GB microSD card is provided, and there’s even an external memory slot so that you can add your own card. There’s a companion app that allows you to share your content, change camera settings and create custom shots.
You never have to worry about flying Lily as she flies completely autonomously. All you have to do is wear the tracking band. She will even land right in the palm of your hand based off of the tracking device that you have.
This is one of the most fun and exciting drones on the market that takes high-speed sports to a whole new level.
You’ll be able to use this device if you’re:
With high-resolution optics, Lily will be able to capture every moment as it happens. We really love the option to choose between modes, whether it be the side mode, panoramic (where Lily goes around and takes pictures from all different angles in accordance with your tracking), or taking pictures from right behind you or in front of you.
You have full control over the action, and Lily will make flying a hands-off experience.
